The Supreme Alphabet is a system of interpreting letters with deeper meanings, used in the Nation of Gods and Earths (Five Percent Nation).
It was developed by Clarence 13X, also known as Father Allah, in the 1960s. Clarence 13X left the Nation of Islam and formed a new group with other former members. He concluded that all black men were divine and took the name Allah to symbolize this status.
He rejected the belief in an invisible God, teaching that God could be found within each black man. In his view, women were "earths" that complemented and nurtured men. He believed that they should be submissive to men. He and a few assistants retained some Nation of Islam teachings and pioneered novel interpretations of them. They ascribed teachings to the meaning of letters and numerals: understanding the meaning of each letter and number was said to provide deep truths about God and the universe.
Clarence 13X referred to his new movement as the Five Percenters, referencing a Nation of Islam teaching that only five percent of the population knew and promoted the truth about God.
The Supreme Alphabet system complements Supreme Mathematics, providing a framework for understanding language in a symbolic and philosophical way.
The ten principles of Supreme Mathematics:
Knowledge (1) – Awareness, foundation of understanding, the beginning of all things.
Wisdom (2) – Application of knowledge, experience, insight, and intelligence.
Understanding (3) – Clarity and perception gained from applying knowledge and wisdom.
Culture/Freedom (4) – Way of life, refinement, and liberation through truth.
Power/Refinement (5) – Strength through wisdom, purification of self.
Equality (6) – Balance, harmony, fairness in dealings with others.
God (7) – The divine force in man, particularly the Black man as the original being.
Build/Destroy (8) – The power to create or dismantle, progress or regress.
Born (9) – Manifestation, completion, bringing things into existence.
Cipher (0) – The eternal cycle, completeness, the totality of everything.
These ten aspects function as a numerological code used for self-discovery, mental elevation, and understanding one's role in the universe.
Each number carries a cosmic and practical meaning, guiding how members of the Nation of Gods and Earths interpret daily life and historical events.
In the Supreme Alphabet, each letter from A to Z is assigned a concept that helps explain the nature of reality, self-awareness, and the universe.

A – Allah → The Supreme Being, Arm-Leg-Leg-Arm-Head (a symbolic breakdown of the word "Allah").

D – Divine → Godly wisdom and righteousness.
E – Equality → Balance, fairness, and justice among all people.
F – Father → Creator, protector, and guide (also represents Allah as the Black man).
G – God → The Supreme Being, the Black man as the original and divine force of knowledge.
H – He or Her → Refers to man or woman, partners in creation.
I – I or Islam → The self, as in "I am" and Islam as a way of life (not a religion in this context).
